Day 300 – Three Hundred Days of Happiness

300 days is a long time. This project started as a daily reminder for myself (and others) to actively practice happiness in what-ever form it may be, in photography, in readings, in conversations with friends, in exercise, yoga, biking, cooking, cleaning  etc. It’s a daily effort or practice. It takes up time and it requires a commitment.

 

After 300 days, I have an archive of images. Some of them are figural or symbolic, have multiple meanings attached, some are literal, some are just cute.

I have an archive of quotes from the books and articles I’ve been reading this year.

I have a clearer sense of myself and what happiness means to me,  what I expect from myself and from others.

66 days to go.
